NEW COURSES at ASiB

After the two weeks of promotional lessons and the Opening Party, seats for the new courses in painting, drawing, contemporary art, and creative development starting next week are now filling up. You still have time to apply to new 12 and 6 week long courses starting between September 17th and 25th.  Please see a list of courses below. For more detailed information about the courses, please click here. For more information about the courses and application  please contact Barbara Guttman at artschoolbudapest@gmail.com (or mobile: +36 20 467 50 51).

Starting this October, the Art School in Budapest will open its doors to exciting courses in Creative Writing, offered by Ashley Nelson, an American writer and teacher with an M.F.A in Fiction from Columbia University in New York. The courses cater to all types of writers: those eager to write a short story or personal essay but unsure how to get started, those who write often and wish for feedback, and those who want to learn more about the craft elements of fiction and nonfiction and how they work on the page.  This ten-week course, held at the Art School in Budapest and beginning the first week of October, is designed for all levels of writers—beginning, intermediate, and advanced. The classes will be once a week for two hours. For more information  please contact Ashley Nelson at creativewritingbudapest@gmail.com (or mobile: +36 30 751 60 17), or visit her website at:  creativewritinginbudpest.wordpress.com. .

Please note that seats are limited for all courses at the Art School in Budapest. Classes will be filled on a first come first-come, first-serve basis. Your spot in a course will be guaranteed only after you have fully completed the application procedure, which consists of two steps: 1) submitting the filled and signed application form and 2) making your payment. After you have done these two things, your enrollment will be secure.

Welcome to the Art School in Budapest, a small school with a BIG heart!
